Dark elves (sometimes referring to themselves as "The Orphans") live in caves underneath the Bleakwood Forest and are not happy about it, but they have to because the sun burns them. Dark Elves, are not as hardy as humans, but seem to be stronger-willed. Their infant mortality rate is unknown, as they find discussing such things to be private, and not to be mentioned. They are a slow-maturing race, reaching their majority around 30. I believe that the age range of 50-140 would be where they would be considered to be "in their prime". They can expect to live until about 200 years of age, but no longer.
